I like to geek out while having real experiences. I maintain an extensive GPS database from my hikes, bikes, runs, and skis dating back to 2008. Feel free to follow the georss feed, explore the map above or download the GPS tracks below.

It was BC election day and I needed to get out in the woods, so I drove up Giveout until the snow got too bad, and walked after that. I actually had cell service as I was walking up Bear's Den and I got a call from Neighbours United... "I'm actually in an old growth forest right now... keep up the good work." The climb up Power Slave was a bit sketchy with some steep icy parts of the trail, but I worked around them and found a couple of old miner cabins. Eventually I found a cutoff to head back to the logging road and start the descent. Dropping down Very High to the junction with the old road, I wanted to explore farther down. I dropped down the road to the next intersection and didn't find anything TOO interesting aside from a few *really* steep MTB trails that crossed the road.
