I like to geek out while having real experiences. I maintain an extensive GPS database from my hikes, bikes, runs, and skis dating back to 2008. Feel free to follow the georss feed, explore the map above or download the GPS tracks below.

No one else wanted to ski today, so I went up by myself and tried to pull off a stiff longer ski. Parked at Glenmerry Rd to maximize skiing time. Rossland-Paulson trail had a bunch of trees down, so it was completely closed, and the track setters were so busy clearing trees that they hadn't tracked very much. I was going to head up to the Glenmerry cabin, but it wasn't tracked past the Ivar, so I turned around and pivoted to the Snowberry/Pine loop. At the top of Snowberry in the old growth section, there was an *enormous* tree that had snapped off at the top and just javelined the trail... must have been 20 feet of tree just sticking straight out of the trail. Crazy. The climb up the Pine was long, but it got my heart rate up, and then it was a mellow trip back the Connector and Winterberry.
